Reznik has no sense of humor, so he writes boring articles. He also talks about himself in the third person. Meanwhile, we have another historical milestone, time to sum up the results of the half-year – we are releasing a stable version of AlterCPA Pro v.33 and developing it further. This release will have a lot of red tracker, a pinch of blue-rainbow optimization, completely black autologin, deep purple statistics and frankly gray CRM.
Tracking until get red
Let’s start with the product where the work was actually done – the tracker AlterCPA Red and the cloak that joined it’s new features AlterCPA One, which swallowed this tracker without choking.
- Teamwork is now good. It is not necessary to take AlterCPA Pro for a team, the new AlterCPA Red will be enough at the start. A team section with flows, a team site storage and separate team-level APIs have appeared. And all this is seasoned with special team rates – the boss takes it, and everyone uses it.
- Statistics are now good too. A whole new section has appeared – analytics, aka fashionable drill-down statistics. The EPL indicator and CPL indicators based on valid and approved leads have been added to the columns. And the time zone has appeared in the settings – no need to switch in the profile anymore, you can look at the stats directly. Or you can not look and disable the click counting for any flow to save on the tariff.
- Optimization is really good now. Recalculation of flow statistics has become as accurate as possible in exactly 72 hours. Smart optimization for CR and EPC has appeared not only in terms of the way, but also by geo – everyone’s favorite smartlink. And the cherry on the cake is that you can choose how much traffic to throw on the best way, and how much to distribute to the rest. And in the platform too!
- Postbacks … Well, you get it, the best! I threw out the API key from them, now it is not scary to insert them into bad affiliate programs. The keys have basically changed – not only a new postback key, but also new click and flow IDs without the ability to directly enumerate.
I look at AlterCPA Red and I like it. I really like it, it turned out to be a truly nice product, I am not ashamed to recommend it! Naays! But I’ll still rebuild something…
Optimization in all holes
Facebook Conversion API for all media buyers has become the most natural sex symbol – only the lazy have not managed to jerk off to them, natives with Googlers do not count. The implementation of FB CAPI in AlterCPA – the very same FB server pixel – has existed since their appearance, but only now it has become perfect.
- For each lead, you can throw as many as three events: at the moment the lead appears, its transition to the hold and approved statuses. And for each status, you can specify your own event – for convenience, finally choose from the list, so that they no longer stick the pixel ID instead of the event name.
- Along with basic data, such as the click ID itself, IP and User-Agent, you can send the contents of the lead itself – first name, last name, email, country. Moreover, now even the click ID is not required, it can be generated when there is data on the lead itself.
- For greater beauty, all the mechanisms of Facebook Conversion API are copied from the flow to a separate hack. With it, you can configure FB CAPI without linking to flows, that is, use it both in the tracker and as an agency, and generally drive traffic on one flow, and link pixels to domains. Complete freedom of action.
A media buyer is not fed with Facebook alone, we will also put in a good word for Google. Such beautiful APIs were not found there, and those that were found deserve a separate cauldron in hell, and with different types of authorization at the entrance and exit. But any hemorrhoid can be bypassed, so we meet Google optimization – uploading conversions by links! In short: we issue a special file with a list of conversions that can be automatically imported into Google Analytics on a schedule. There’s a whole article about this, go deeper.
Autologin: was there ever a boy?
Oh, these advertisers with crypto investment offers! They all need live traffic, exactly from morning to evening, only on weekdays, and in general the call center is greedy and they have paws. Of course, our media-brother-buyer is not happy about this, he wants to drive traffic always. But look at these advertisers, they give a tricky link and want a person to follow it and get to the personal account. How to do this with API sending? Imitate!
- The hack for simulating autologin was literally rewritten from scratch, only the idea remained from the old hack. Be sure to set it up again, but don’t forget to turn it on before that – an inactive hack of the settings interface will not show.
- Activation is now supported for certain companies, geos and offers directly from the interface, you no longer need to mess with the offer parameters. But you can, if you want – the parameters have not disappeared anywhere.
- There is no longer just one proxy, you can create a full-featured database of proxy servers, one for each geo. This allows you to work with different proxy services depending on the country, or create different ports in your favorite service without fiddling with tricky logins and passwords.
- Particularly obsessive techies will like the ability to use a third-party service to simulate the transition itself. What’s the idea: take an antidetect browser, deploy it on the server and write it an automation script that takes the user agent, creates a profile and follows the link in it. Imitation is much better than simple CURL, bypasses any evercookie solutions.
I remind you that imitation of transitions to autologin links is still a direct deception of the advertiser. It is not good to do this.
Statistics are worse than any blatant lie
Somewhere deep inside the platform, the mechanisms for calculating statistics for offers, sites, flows and split tests have been working for years. It turned out that their accuracy was floating, and they did not work very quickly. Now the accuracy has become ideal, the speed is high, and the indicators that you see in the offer table are the most truthful. But there is a nuance …
People say that there are three types of lies – just lies, blatant lies and statistics. I decided to combine the three in one. I don’t know anything, you yourself asked me about this more than once, so now reap the fruits of your requests. From now on, you can lie in the offer statistics table.
Somewhere deep … Oh, I already talked about depth, but nevertheless. In a very secret place that almost no one has seen, that is in the public documentation for AlterCPA, magic parameters are described. They allow you to set CR, EPC, approval and the amount of payment commissions that will be shown in the table. Both for the entire offer and separately for the geo and target. By the way, it also works with sites.
CRM: the most boring part
I’ll just inform you: I’ve been tinkering with the CRM again, and I’ve made it faster and more stable. My bloody battle for call center productivity with our fat clients has come to an end, and we can sum it up.
- I had to create a special operating mode for plus-size call centers, which would have to take three seats in a row on an airplane, and those at the entrance. When this mode is activated, a special table is created in the database for quick access to call center orders, and the load on the server becomes literally zero.
- To speed things up a little more, you can play around with the duplicate check time. Advanced settings now have parameters for the check depth – when there’s no point in digging into duplicates older than a couple of months, it becomes easier for the server.
- The default system delivery service now has a parcel sending function. Now no one is stopping you from creating your own logistics services for the same AlterCPA Moe without using hacks. I even wrote a separate article about this.
- I cleared the order page of unnecessary buttons and removed the “Show on map” button. I learned a lot about myself and my intimate preferences from dissatisfied clients. I returned the button back, but now it works normally. Next time I’ll remove something more substantial – it will be interesting to see the public’s reaction.
Useful little things
This part doesn’t include all the little things, like new countries in the phone number corrector or the corrected system language selection field, but know that these are far from all the little things.
- The number encryption algorithm has changed throughout the system. Previously, I used the most compact implementation to keep the code short. It turned out that such codes could simply be sorted through one by one and extract data. That’s why we now have long 16-digit codes with brute-force protection.
- In the piggy bank of obvious banalities: commission payment settings have been given to the time of activity. Now you can directly specify that the increased rate applies to leads from May 1 until lunch. And yes, this is another “I was sure we had it” feature – now we definitely do!
- I am specifically writing about this feature as deeply as possible so that no one will read it, because it can cause a lot of problems: now you can block leads for which there was no place in the box, and thereby completely lose traffic. You yourself asked me to hurt you, enjoy!
- The useful side of this point: commission payments can be linked to the presence or absence of a box for a lead, and thus take into account the outflow of the test cap.
- The first stages of implementing third-party services directly into the AlterCPA interface have begun: the WebsGen white site generator can be launched directly from the network and load ready-made whites directly into the storage.
- I have finished the pusher hack for copying leads on a schedule: it now has filters by check amount and number of products, both in total and separately for upsells and crosses. Now you can pull out buyouts with a high check and a couple of cross-sales to palm off some more choice game on them.
Aftertaste
And again, there are not many improvements, because a year ago AlterCPA was brought to mind and now all sorts of little things are being added. Development does not stand still, in six months more than one hundred commits have been made, the tracker, cloak and GGL are being developed. In the new half of the year, there are plans to improve the caps and rework TDS.
And there was also an Easter egg in this article, but it has already been found, they knocked on my personal message and received their reward worth several hundred bucks. Here is an incentive for you to thoughtfully read the nonsense that I write.
