In the course of your work you may encounter various issues with the front server. This could be blocking, change of address, non-payment with loss of access.
Any front server problem is a sites problem, so it’s crucial to resolve them quickly and efficiently. We’ve put together two checklists to help with this.
Change of front server address
- Update the parking IP in the system site settings: Control → Settings → Sites → Site storage (Parking IP).
- Re-park existing domains (except the main system domain) to the new address. The parking procedure is described in detail here.
- Clear the system cache (MemCache or APCu, if neither is available — the Main data cache).
- Re-check the parked domains in the system: Control → Settings → Domains. They should show "OK" without SSL.
- Log into the server as root and run
./webssl.

- Install the new front server according to the instructions using the command from Control → Settings → Diagnostics → Extension servers setup.
